CasablancaBox is an inside-out theatrical
re-imagining of the
making of the 1942 classic film Casablanca.
It was developed
over the course of a three year
HARP Artist Residency at HERE
Arts Center and nominated for two
2017 Drama Desk Awards:
Outstanding Projection Design and
Unique Theatrical Experience.
CasablancaBox
was built iteratively,
over the course of
3 years, with several
workshop runs prior to opening in 2017.
